This expression is such a simple way to identify a mind that is positive or negative. If only life was so simple, two sets of views, black or white….but it’s not is it? It’s a myriad shades of grey, and even on the best day, we might be struggling with something deeper.
Today, I want to share another view with you.
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, just stop for a minute. Allow your body to rest, feeling soft and relaxed. Close your eyes and take one large breath in. Feel the air fill your lungs, then slowly release this breath out expelling any the tensions you may be feeling.
Repeat the following sentence: “I HAVE a glass.”
I know, it sounds a little odd. I suppose in a way it is, as mantras are usually more beautiful crafted than these 4 words. But the meaning is profound.
We have a glass. We have our faculties, we have the ability to perceive and choose our attitude towards any situation.
With a tiny shift of thinking, we’ve transformed judgement into perspective and gratitude. It’s a small shift, but the possibilities are endless….
I hope you have a wonderful day, and please, let me know how it goes
Great insight and to be reminded of what we know to be true
Awesome. Literally. Thank you!
Thank YOU Matt! Have an awesome day! 🙂 Tamkey and Claire
